​This piece was composed for the Baltimore Baroque Band as a collaboration between the Historical Performance and Composition Departments at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Bond, Sara Bond is a contemporary take on the sarabande baroque dance form, beginning as a traditional sarabande that is quickly detrailed in harmonic, formal, and melodic structure.
